Anthony Banker is a Keesal, Young & Logan associate based in Anchorage. His practice focuses
on maritime casualty response
and litigation.
Mr. Banker has experience in the areas
of admiralty and maritime law, product liability, insurance bad faith, professional
liability, lender liability and fraud. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Banker was
the Supervising Attorney for the State of Alaska’s Office of Elder Fraud & Assistance.
Mr. Banker helped create the office, drafted regulations, investigated over 500
cases, and obtained judgments and settlements concerning more than 4.5 million dollars
worth of assets for elder Alaskans unable to obtain private counsel.
Mr. Banker received his B.A. degree from
Auburn University in 1992 and his J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of
Law in 2000, where he graduated cum laude and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga
Law Review. Mr. Banker is admitted to practice law in the courts of Alabama, Alaska,
and Tennessee. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Alaska,
Anchorage where he teaches a course in civil litigation. Mr. Banker is a member
of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
