Lisa Beazley is a shareholder who began her legal career at the Long Beach office of Keesal,
Young & Logan in 1988. She practices extensively in the state and federal courts
and also represents clients in administrative actions at the regional and state
levels. Ms. Beazley is often called upon to represent port
authorities, ocean carriers, and terminal operators in matters involving environmental
compliance, goods movement, and infrastructure development and management.
In connection with her significant work for the Alameda Corridor Transportation
Authority, Ms.
Beazley received an Award of Honor from the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors.
She was also honored with an invitation to the White House to watch the
President of the United States and the Secretary of Transportation authorize
funding for the development of the project. Ms. Beazley also handles
commercial disputes for large companies. She represents municipalities, large
oil refineries, and financial service providers in various dispute resolution
processes. Ms. Beazley has made numerous presentations to state and local policy makers
on behalf of commercial interests. She has drafted legislation that has
ultimately become the law of the state.
