Nicole Zajack is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Ms. Zajack is experienced in representing employers in discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination cases in state and federal court, arbitration proceedings, and administrative charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the U.S. Department of Labor and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Ms. Zajack’s current practice focuses on a broad range of civil litigation, including securities and employment matters.
Ms. Zajack graduated cum laude from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a B.A. in English and was a Founder’s Day Award recipient. She received her J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Zajack was Managing Editor of the UCLA Women’s Law Journal and volunteered at the El Centro Legal Clinic. Ms. Zajack also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dale S. Fischer in the United States District Court, Central District of California and Justice Richard D. Fybel in the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Zajack worked in broadcast news in New York, California, and at local affiliates, and also worked in human resources in the high technology industry in San Francisco.
Ms. Zajack is a member of the State Bar of California, the Warren J. Ferguson Inn of Court, and the Orange County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California.
