Holiday Happening at Keesal, Young & Logan
Published in the Long Beach Press Telegram 12/21/13
The law firm of Keesal, Young & Logan is generous to the Long Beach community throughout the year. They are particularly generous during the holiday season. They fill an entire office to the brim, with food, toys, bicycles and all things to make a cheery yuletide season for seven families that they have adopted.
They also shared the joy of the season with a beautifully decorated party for 600 guests on Dec 6. On the 13th floor they served duck crepes with crab and shrimp that were presented in a beautiful ice sculpture display. On the 14th floor the always popular martini luge with a Ferris wheel ice sculpture was a gathering spot for the convivial crowd. Chef William Hall presented live cooking choices of risotto. Other stations included carved turkey breast and beef tri-tip on rolls. There were two sushi stations and a sake bar (Sushi provided by Forbidden City). Tray-passed hors d’oeuvres offered baby lamb chops, bacon-wrapped shrimp, bruschetta with olive tapenade and raspberry and brie in phyllo. Drawing the most ooh’s and aah’s were the dessert tables laden with chocolate temptations including chocolate-dipped strawberries and cake pops. Other sweet-tooth delicacies included assorted pastries, mini-pies and holiday cookies served with assorted Champagnes.
