Sarah Malik is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Her practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, representing clients in securities, employment, and maritime matters. Sarah also advises broker-dealer clients with respect to customer complaints against financial advisors and works to successfully resolve such complaints.
Sarah graduated from Cornell University in 2015 with a B.S. in communications. After spending two years as a legal assistant in a structured finance practice at an AmLaw 100 law firm, Sarah attended law school and received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2021.
While in law school, Sarah served as the Executive Director of the 2020-2021 USF Moot Court Program. She also competed on the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition team at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2020, and advanced as a semi-finalist at USF’s 2019 Advocate of the Year Competition. She also served as a tutor for USF’s Academic and Bar Exam Success Program offering weekly sessions focused on exam strategy skills for second-year Property law students.
Outside the office, Sarah invests her time visiting museums, honing her tennis skills, and traveling.
Sarah has been admitted to practice in the State of California since 2021.
