Simon Levy is a shareholder with Keesal Young & Logan in its San Francisco office. His practice focuses on civil litigation matters in the securities, employment, maritime, and insurance industries. Simon also advises broker dealer clients with respect to customer complaints against financial advisors.
In his employment practice, Simon has defended employers in court, regulatory and arbitral forums regarding claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation, blacklisting, tortious interference, breach of contract, unfair competition, and wage and hour violations.
Simon graduated with honors from New York University in 2009 with a B.A. in history. He earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2015 where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the McAuliffe Honors Society, representing the top 10% of students in his class. Simon served as an Articles Editor on the USF Law Review Executive Board. Simon also earned the CALI Award for Excellence both semesters of his Legal Research and Writing class, and was a member of USF’s National Moot Court Competition team. Simon’s Note, Jones v. Chappell: The California Death Penalty is Unconstitutional, was recognized by the faculty as the best piece of written student work the year it was published.
Simon joined Keesal Young & Logan and was admitted to the California Bar in 2015.
