Lucas Eduardo Garcia is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office, and is admitted to practice in the state of California. His practice focuses on a broad range of civil litigation matters in securities, employment and maritime. In Lucas’ securities practice, he has represented financial services firms and registered investment advisors against claims that include fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and suitability in both court and FINRA arbitration proceedings.
Lucas graduated with Distinction in General Scholarship from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in political science. Lucas received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2021. While at UCLA, Lucas served as Treasurer on the Board of the Latinx Law Students Association.
Prior to attending Cal, Lucas founded and operated a small business with his father and brother to provide valet services to businesses across all industries in the West Los Angeles area. The company is still running today with Lucas’ father and brother at the helm and breaking into new sectors of the service industry.
In Lucas’ spare time, he enjoys volunteering at the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law where he spent his 1L summer as a Law Student Intern serving vulnerable communities in Los Angeles. Lucas also is training to earn his Private Pilot Certification.
