Valerie Quirarte is an associate with Keesal, Young & Logan in its Long Beach office. Her practice includes a broad range of civil litigation matters in the securities, maritime, and employment areas.
A first-generation college student, Valerie received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a major in political science and a minor in Labor and Workplace Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Valerie interned for Justice Corps, a division of AmeriCorps. After two years as a Legal Assistant at a family law office in Downtown Los Angeles, Valerie attended law school and received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in May 2023.
While in law school, Valerie was invited to join the St. Thomas More Honor Society, which recognizes students in the top 15% of their class. She served as a clinical student for the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, was an active member of La Raza de Loyola, and was a member of the VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team. She also received a First Honors Award for the highest course performance in Appellate Advocacy.
